About the Artist

A cycling enthusiast, Dooley creates artwork that often feeds the desire for jumping back into the saddle again. Her works of art summon a sense of nostalgia for youthful diversions and/or explore historic and contemporary verses of feminism in relation to bicycles.

BIKE RODEO

The bike rodeo series was inspired by the Heavy Pedal Cyclecide Bike Rodeo, a club of alter-bike mechanics, mariachi-punk musicians and psychotic clowns who love bikes, beer and pyrotechnics.
